NEW:  Science Explorers for Homeschoolers

Thursdays: 11:30am - 12:15pm
Biology 001: May 2 - June 6

Preregistration Required 

Cost: $60 per six-week session for members, $70 for non-members

Ages: 6 - 9

What are the connections between water, microorganisms, plants, people and animals? Explore these living systems and how they are inter-related, in a series of six fun, fast-paced classes.

 

Junior Science Explorers
Thursdays, 10:00-10:45 am

Preregistration Required

Introduce budding scientists to a variety of science topics through hands-on experiments and activities.  This six-class session for children ages 3 1/2 - 5 is held on Thursday mornings.  Fee: $60 museum members, $70 non-members.  Registration for this program is now open.  Register by calling 603-742-2002 during regular business hours. 

 

First Friends Playgroup - May 1 - June 12 (group goes on hiatus for the summer)

The First Friends Playgroup for children ages 6 months - two years is a drop-in opportunity for parents and babies/toddler to play together in the Early Learning Landscape area. Program is free for museum members and regular museum admission applies for non-members.

 

Wee Ones Wednesdays
May 1 - June 12 (class goes on hiatus for the summer)

9:45-10:30am and 10:45-11:30am

Wee Ones Wednesdays is an interactive weekly drop-in program for children ages 2-4. Children and a parent or caregiver enjoy art, music, movement and conceptual learning with a new theme each week. Sessions are offered from 9:45-10:30 am and 10:45-11:30 am. The cost per adult/child pair is $6 for museum members and $9 for non-members. Additional children in a family are $5 each for members and $8 each for non-members.

For all CMNH programs and workshops: payment is due at the time of booking. Program registration fees do not include the price of admission unless otherwise stated.

**WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY:  Preschool classes will not be held if Dover public schools are closed or have a delayed opening. Please check WMUR-TV, WOKQ-FM, WERZ-FM or WTSN-AM for school closing information before leaving for the museum on days with inclement weather.**
