CDFA TAX CREDIT Program

New Hampshire Businesses:
Keep your tax dollars local and help us finish our Climber campaign!

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire (CMNH) has been awarded $200,000 in Tax Credits by the NH Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA). These tax credits will support the installation of a Luckey Climber—a visually stunning, large-scale climbing structure that encourages active play, social interaction, and imagination and will drive attendance to the Museum.

When your business purchases Tax Credits from CMNH, you keep your money in our local community. Tax Credits can offset the NH Business Profits Tax, Business Enterprise Tax, or the Insurance Premium Tax. Your business will receive an automatic credit against your tax bill equal to 75% of the purchase. The donation may also be eligible for treatment as a state and federal charitable contribution.

Thank you to those businesses that have purchased Tax Credits to support the Museum’s new Climber exhibit, opening fall 2026!

Tax Credits keep your tax dollars local, supporting projects such as the Climber exhibit, while providing your business an automatic credit against your tax bill. CMNH still has $48,000 in CDFA tax credits to sell this year. Your purchase can be applied to business taxes in FY2027 or carried forward for up to five years. Please email us to learn more!

The Museum anticipates the Climber to be installed in the fall of 2026. With a budget of $751,000, it is our largest exhibit investment to date.

We invite your donations to support this landmark project that will engage thousands of children annually and serve as a vibrant symbol of community investment in education, art, physical and mental well-being, and play for many years to come!
