If you are looking for a class or camp, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire has a lot to offer a wide range of ages. You can choose from:

  • Science Classes that run throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring in 6 week sessions
  • Special Art Classes happen periodically throughout the year and often feature guest artist teachers

Junior Science Class: Science Art

NEW! Mondays, September 18 - Mondays, October 23
1:30-2:15pm
(No class on Columbus Day, October 9th)

This fall, junior scientists, ages 3.5-5, will will dive into the world of science through art in this messy and fun class. We’ll learn, and understand, fancy scientific words, explore open-ended crafts, read stories and, of course, get our hands dirty doing foamy, fizzy and bubbly experiments. MEMBER PERK: The museum exhibits are closed on Mondays, but smaller siblings and parents who are museum members will have access to the Primary Place exhibit to play while class is in session (45 minutes). Please note that the first floor exhibits will be closed during this time. These classes run for 6 weeks. Classes are $60 for Members and $70 for Non-members. Pre-registration is required. Homeschool Science Class: Chemistry

Tuesdays, September 19 - Tuesdays, October 24
10:15-11am

This Fall, homeschool students, ages 6-9, will learn about chemistry through hands-on experimentation. Topics will include states of matter, phase changes, messy mixtures, and chemical reactions. Learn about chemistry and make some fun projects to take home. These classes run for 6 weeks. Classes are $60 for Members and $70 for Non-members. Pre-registration is required. We All Belong: Art and Friendship Go Hand in Hand

Wednesdays, October 11 - November 15, 4-5:30pm

This fun and interactive art program is for adults who are learning English as a second language, refugees, immigrants and their children, as well as Museum Member adults and children. Join us at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, a warm, inclusive community, to engage in meaningful, out-of-school arts experiences. Play, create, express yourself, share your ideas and form new friendships. The Museum’s art gallery curator and educator staff will lead participants in activities that everyone can do including painting, drawing, collage, bead-making, dream-catchers, weaving, handprints and more.
