The Dover Mini Maker Faire is a day long festival where people of all ages show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Check out our dedicated website with more complete info about our Faire!
This isn’t your typical New England fair, although we always have great food! More than 1,600 people attended last year to interact with robots, play with rockets, try their hands at science experiments, geek out with innovative technology, create arts and crafts and more.
Kids ages 5 and under are free. Tickets at the door are $12/person.
New this year!
The hosts of the 2017 Dover Mini Maker Faire, The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, are inviting all creative individuals, families, clubs, organizations, and school teams to design and develop creative and inspiring exhibits made almost entirely out of cardboard!
Using your creative minds and vision, you will be challenged to think out of the “Box” to find innovative ways to transform any cardboard material into a creative model (like a sculpture or structure), interactive game, a functioning machine, or whatever inspires you! Your masterpiece will be displayed in a “Cardboard Box Museum” at the 5th annual Dover Mini Maker Faire hosted by the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire on August 26, 2017. The masterpieces will be judged by a panel of Makers, and winners in each age/group category will receive awards for their cardboard exhibits based on creativity of the solution, functionality, and artistic representation.
Whether you are an engineer, a scientist, a tinkerer or an artisan, we want to see what you do! Sign up to be a Maker presenter, performer, to give a workshop or to sell your creations.
