The Dover Mini Maker Faire is a day long festival where people of all ages show what they are making, and share what they are learning.
Check out our dedicated website with more complete info about our Faire: http://dover.makerfaire.com
PLEASE NOTE: The Children's Museum's normal exhibits will be CLOSED today. This Faire is a special event that takes place inside the museum and throughout downtown Dover. If you purchase tickets to the Faire, that does not mean your family will then be able to play inside the museum. The entire museum, including exhibit spaces, is occupied with Makers for the duration of the Faire.
This isn’t your typical New England fair, although we always have great food! More than 1,600 people attended last year to interact with robots, play with rockets, try their hands at science experiments, geek out with innovative technology, create arts and crafts and more. This year, with over 65 Makers participating, we'll have pirates, ice cream made with liquid nitrogen, beer tasting, live music, virtual reality, a video game trailer, fun with clay, a beekeeper, lego robots, student robots, professionally built robots, face painting, meatball subs, fusion food, cupcakes, Raspberry Pi, screen printing, arts and crafts, coffee tasting, a chance to talk to a satelite, comic workshops, fairy house building, egg drop challenges, and SO MUCH MORE! Check out the complete 2017 schedule here: http://dover.makerfaire.com/things-to-see-and-do/scheduleandmap/
