The week after Christmas, we’ll be open every day, so it’s the perfect chance to come enjoy that new membership! Each day this week we’ll be exploring different themes. We are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Dino Day: Tuesday, December 26, 10am-5pm
Join us at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire to enjoy dinosaur themed crafts and games in our Muse Studio along with a Dino themed scavenger hunt that ends with a prize! Special activities include learning about fossils and dino storytimes throughout the day.
Animal Day: Wednesday, December 27, 10am-5pm
Today at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, learn all about animals and how to care for them! Dr. Timothy Hunt from Hunt Veterinary Consulting will be here to teach visitors about pet care – and has some great giveaways. Then meet Canine Companion for Independence puppy in training, Hagar! Learn how Hagar is being trained and all about the possible jobs he may do someday.
Music Day: Thursday, December 28, 10am-5pm
Join the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire for Music Day! We have special guests Ben and Glen from C.B. Gitty performing a family sing-along Canjo concert. There will be drop-in music themed activities in the studio and STEAM Lab too! All
Dance Day: Friday, December 29, 10am-5pm
Join us for Dance Day at the museum! Our friend Cristina White from East Coast Dance Complex in Dover will be at the museum offering two drop-in workshops. This is a great way to introduce kids to dance! There will be dance related crafts and activities in the STEAM Lab and Muse Studio. We will also be having some pop-up dance parties in our large classroom, so you can shake your sillies out and learn a few moves!
