Military Appreciation Weekend

This Memorial Day Weekend the Children's Museum of NH will welcome current and retired military personnel and their immediate family members at no cost through the holiday (5.27.17 – 5.29.17). Simply show a military ID at the front desk to receive free admission for yourself as well as your dependent children and spouse. During the weekend, visitors can enjoy patriotic music and activities in the MUSE Studio. Military Appreciation Weekend is supported by BAE Systems, Unitil, Eastern Bank Foundation, and Profile Bank.

Blue Star Museums Program

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is once again part of the Blue Star Museum program that means we offer free admission to active duty military personnel and their families between Memorial Day and September 4 (we are closed on Labor Day).

Q. Who is eligible for free Children's Museum of New Hampshire admission through Blue Star Museums?

A. The free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps - and up to five family members.

Q. How many military personnel and/or family members are allowed in for free per visit?

A. The military ID holder plus up to five family members. The military ID holder can either be active duty service member or other dependent family member with the appropriate ID card. The active duty member does not have to be present for family members to use the program.

Q. How do you define a family member?

A. A family member of active duty military may include a spouse or child, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.
